Junie B Jones Costume Contest

Ages: 

4-7 years Friday night August 14

8-11 years Saturday night ,August 15

Contest will be during intermission each night.

**Free admission for contestant only - family and friends should purchase tickets early **

 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners will receive Cash Prizes and one month free drama classes.

Participants will be judged on:

-how closely they are dressed like Junie B.

-"Junie B." personality 

-Introduction as Junie B.

Register at Cherokee Regional Library in Lafayette, at the Costume Contest, August 1st at the FootHills Art Gallery. Deadline for registration Friday August 7th.  

Junie B Jones Art Contest

 Draw a scene from your favorite Junie B. story. Art must be contestant's original art. No reproductions of copyright material may be submitted. 

Two age groups:

7-10

11-14

1st, 2nd, 3rd, for both groups. Cash prize...and tickets to show.

ONE OVERALL WINNER will be chosen by Judges to have their art on the cover of the playbill.

ALL Judges decisions are final.

Requirements

Page size 8x10

On Unlined paper

Use Pencil, Paint, charcoals, pastels, or markers

Must have Artists Age, Name, and Contact Information attatched to the back of the art when submitted.

Art should be submitted to Foothills Art Gallery during business hours July 23-25 and July 30 and 31st. Judging and prizes will be awarded Saturday August 1st at the Art Gallery. All contestants should attend. Tickets for the performances will be on sale at the Art Gallery Aug. 1st.
